In this prototype of Randy 3, artist tries to use the reading head mechanism one sees on old gramophone. Instead reading grooves on a vintage vinyl record, Randy 3 picks up sound from the land. In draft, the needle attached underneath should barely touch the ground, thus moves up and sown along with changes of surface and creates vibration, which later be recorded on to other types of medium such as paper scroll.
